By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

These terms cover this website alone. Any engagement with us is governed by the contract for that work, and where that contract and these terms disagree, the contract prevails. The separate websites of companies in the group have their own terms.

The content is information, not advice

Everything on this site is published for general information about our firm and our fields of work. It is not professional, financial, regulatory, legal or investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to take any particular course of action.

Payments is a fast-moving and heavily regulated industry, and what is right for one organisation is wrong for another. Do not act on anything here without advice suited to your own circumstances. Nothing on this site creates a client relationship or any duty of care; that begins only with a signed engagement.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, or an invitation to invest.

Accuracy and availability

We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or up to date. Figures describing our experience, reach and delivery record are indicative and drawn from our own records.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee that it will be available uninterrupted or free of error.

Intellectual property

The site and its content — text, design, layout, graphics, artwork, photography and code — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. The PayTech name, the PayTech Group logo and the names and marks of the group's companies are our trade marks.

You may view the site and print or download extracts for your own internal, non-commercial reference, provided you keep all proprietary notices intact. You may not otherwise copy, republish, adapt, frame, sell or exploit any part of the site, systematically extract or scrape its content, or use it to train machine-learning models, without our written permission.

Third-party names and logos

This site displays the names and logos of banks, payment schemes, processors and other organisations. Those marks belong to their respective owners and are used here solely to identify organisations our people have worked with or whose systems our work touches.

Their appearance does not imply any endorsement of us by those organisations, any partnership beyond what is stated, or any current engagement. Work described may have been delivered by our people at earlier firms or under previous engagements.

If you own a mark shown here and would like it removed, write to hello@paytechgroup.com and we will deal with it promptly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, or in breach of these terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system.
• Introduce malware, or interfere with the site's operation or availability by any means, including denial-of-service and automated flooding.
• Scrape, harvest or mine the site's content or code at scale, or bypass any technical measure limiting access.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with us, or use our marks in a way that suggests endorsement.

The site links out to other websites, including those of companies in our group and our LinkedIn page. Links are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices; following such a link is at your own risk and takes you outside these terms.

You may link to our home page in a fair and lawful way that does not damage our reputation or suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist. You may not frame the site on another site. We may withdraw permission to link at any time.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, including your mandatory rights under Norwegian law.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them or their subject matter, are governed by the laws of Norway. The courts of Norway, with Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) as the agreed venue of first instance, have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
